Lipstick on a...
Yet another instance of a woman sitting across from me applying make up, while also balancing a bouquet of lillies on her lap. While I try not to stare, she sees me observing her and asks, "It's not helping, is it?" :)
I have been riding light rail for more than 15 years. I have made friendships, laughed loudly, minded my own business, been spit on, peed on, propositioned (by a guy named Sheldon), citationed, broken up fights and have had to call law enforcement or paramedics. Just to get to and from work each day...
