Random Faith
Approached by a young man named Jamiel, who is from South-Central LA, in drug recovery, trying to find a job and "looking for God to find the right woman for him." He wanted someone to pray with him...so we got off the LR at 16th...and we prayed.
I have been riding light rail for more than 15 years. I have made friendships, laughed loudly, minded my own business, been spit on, peed on, propositioned (by a guy named Sheldon), citationed, broken up fights and have had to call law enforcement or paramedics. Just to get to and from work each day...
